Ambati Rayudu says that temples will be built for MS Dhoni in Chennai due to his performances for the Indian team and Chennai Super Kings over the years.
Chennai Super Kings secured a 5-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals on Sunday and because of that they can keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the play offs of the Indian Premier League 2024.
With 14 points, a net run rate of +0.528 and 7 wins from 13 matches, Chennai Super Kings are third in the team points table.
MS Dhoni played his last ipl t20 match on Sunday if Chennai Super Kings fail to qualify for the play offs. Celebrities like Rajinikanth and Kushboo have been built temples by their fans and MS Dhoni can join the list because of the joy he brought to the Indian team and the Chennai Super Kings teams, says Rayudu.
“He is the God of Chennai and I am sure, temples of MS Dhoni would be built in the years to come in Chennai,” Rayudu to Star Sports.

“He is someone who brought India the joy of two World Cups and has brought Chennai joy with a lot of IPL and Champions League titles. He has just been that one guy who shows belief in his players, who has always done it for the team, for the country and for CSK,” “He is a legend and someone everyone celebrates in the crowd. They might be thinking that this might be his last game in Chennai,” Rayudu said.
