Indian batsman Shubman Gill says that the fast bowlers will stand out in the five-match Test series against England. His statement was made before the fourth Test last Friday.
India is leading the series 2-1 after three matches and Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been dropped for the 4th match. Bumrah is currently the top wicket taker in the tournament. He also appreciated Mohammad Siraj’s bowling. “Our fast bowlers showed their skills throughout the tournament. Bumrah leads our fast bowling fleet. But I believe Mohammed Siraj has also shown his talent.”
Siraj took four wickets in the 1st innings in Rajkot where the fast bowlers had no special advantage. Accordingly, with the BCCI deciding to rest Bumrah for the fourth Test, the responsibility of the pace fleet will mainly be given to Siraj.
Meanwhile, Indian batsman KL Rahul has been ruled out of the 4th Test. It is because of a disability he has. According to the report, whether he will play for the fifth match will be decided after checking his fitness.
