England fast bowler James Anderson has expressed his disappointment over Viraj Kohli’s absence from the Test series between India and England.
Virat Kohli has decided not to participate in this tournament due to his wife’s second child. At the end of four matches of the tournament, the Indian team has taken the lead 3-1 and the final match is scheduled to be held at the Dharamshala Stadium.
James Anderson expressed his willingness to compete against the best players.
“Yes I always want to play against the best players. And it is a shame that Virat Kohli did not participate in the tournament. We have had some great battles over the years. But not just me but as a team we think we want to play against the best in the world.”
Further commenting on it, And said that it was disappointing not to be able to face someone like Kohli as a player.
“He has challenged bowlers for years. It’s a shame he’s not playing,” said James Anderson.
The fifth and final match between India and England is scheduled to be held on March 07 at the Dharmasala Stadium.
