The West Indies Cricket Association and the International Cricket Council have announced that they have observed a terrorist threat to the 2024 T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to begin in June. That has been confirmed by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
The ICC and the West Indies Cricket Board have confirmed that they are ready to implement a strong security plan for the 2024 World Cup as a terrorist threat has been detected.
The 2024 T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held with the participation of 20 teams, will be held in nine stadiums, six of which are set to be held in the West Indies and three in the United States of America.
The tournament is scheduled to be held from 1st to 29th of June. The final match is scheduled to be played in host Barbados. It was the 29th of June.
