Lose of driver attention leads to a previously happened train accident in Andhra Pradesh on October 29, 2023 according to India’s Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw.
According to him, this two passenger train accident happened because of the driver and driver assistant watching a cricket match using their mobile phone.
This accident was happened in the Vizianagaram district, and loss about 13 passengers and 50 people injured. This accident happened on the Howrah-Chennai line in Kantakapalli at about 7.00 pm
After this disclosing of this accident, minister Vaishnaw said new safety methods need for indian railways. He talking about installing of systems that can detect to avoid distractions, to ensure that train drivers and assistant drivers focus their attention on their job.
